The new Administrator doesn't have ownership of your old files. You
need to reset the permissions and ownership. You can do it quite easily by adding the following
Registry Mod to your system ...

http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/112795-context-menu-take-ownership.html

Once this has been done, you can right-click anyhwere, and you'll have a new option "Take Ownership". You shoul do this on your Avid Projects folder and maybe also the Avid User folder.

BTW, the product is Avid Symphony Nitris. There is a separate product naemd Avid Nitris DS. Confusing naming? you betcha!

Avid symphony DS 3.5 lauch error

Hi, i installed a clean Vista Buisiness 64 and Avid symphony DS 3.5. Before, we used windows XP and Nitris DS ver 1.82. All my installations I made it was in the administrator profil of the machine. I updated my dongle, I lauch Avid Nitris and everything work correctly with administrator profil. The problem it's happen when I log off and I logon with a new user. The application open only 10 sec and it fade off. It look like a permission problem, but I configuge this new user of administrator of the machine and it's not work. The application have a security settings to do? It's a registration problem? A user permission problem? Please help me!
