It seems that while my computer and MC 2.8 recognizes the external drive, when I try to play the sequence or any media on the external drive, I get the Exception Disk Access Denied warning.

I guess, then, my question is, how do I get the Avid to "unlock" and grant access to the external drive?

Thanks in advance.

Exception: Disk_Access_Denied

I am having trouble accessing one aif file from a drive with media created on Xpress 4.1.1 when I am in Composer 2.8. I am consolidating a sequence from the external harddrive to a new system's local drive. Keep in mind that all the other media consolidated fine. I get the following:

Exception: Disk_Access_Denied, Filename H: \OHFI Mediafiles\120105 RageA01.455CD455CCF46.aif

Does anyone now the fastest way of maybe locating this file and then re-importing it? I appreciate any advice on this.
