HI,

I am embedding. There was actually no problem wtih a newer version this morning of the sequence. Part of the sequence was replaced and the whole thing worked. Odd error if it was corrupt media or effect. Thanks for all the help. will defintely try your idea if i run into issues again.

What AAF/OMF settings are you using? If you are embedding media into an AAF/OMF and the total filesize hits or exceeds 2GB, you will likely get an "MVL_Insufficient_Space" error. The easiest workaround is to send the Media and AAF file to a folder.

You will also see this error when choosing to consolidate media in the AAF/OMF export window. For some reason this does not work correctly, and in fact COPIES the source files instead of CONSOLIDATING from the source files. The workaround for this is to duplicate your sequence, consolidate it to a different volume (choosing to relink to the consolidated media) and then exporting your AAF/OMF from the new sequence.

Thanks. That worked. I must have a corrupted file or effect somewhere in the sequence. Appreciate the help!

Can you try using marks and export a short segment and see if that works?

yes. I tried the desktop and an external 2 TB drive. Aslo did the same on other computers.

I meant did you try to export to another drive? Bypassing the Terrablock completely?

Yes. I tried other computers as well, one with close to a TB of space.

Working currently on a MAC 10.6.8 with Terrablock storage by Facilis. 12GB ram 1 TB HD over 500 GB available on HD with several more on the terrablock.

I can not get around this error. I did not see this error discussed for exporting. Any help. I tried creating a new project, new bin and sequnce, restarting the computer and the Avid. It is a 5 minute sequence with 5 tracks of audio. This shouldn't be an issue. I just want an omf.
