&lt;p&gt;Your post was the only info I could find how to do that, but when I clicked on your number 3, which sounds just like me, when I clicked on update download, somehow I was sent to an upgrade for 3.0.5&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Any ideas of what I can do?&lt;/p&gt;

(3.01 on 10.4.11 and QT7.4.5)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;All it has taken is to use the play length command when working on sequences with relatively heavy nested effects. Sequences with no nested effects don&amp;#39;t cause any problems...&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I have exactly the same computer (RAM, OS, quicktime version...), except the video card, which is a lower model. I tried to install MC 3.01, but I can&amp;#39;t even launch the application. This a complete new OS installation that I made. Did you make something special to make this work ?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;It could be interesting for me to make this work for testings and some bin manipulation (SD project, 24p or 25i), along with the two editing stations that I have (which are Mac Pro&amp;#39;s).&lt;/p&gt;
