Got a new laptop and loaded Avid MC and the Studio toolkit (Sonic V6.0) Was using it with normal expected results. All of a sudden when I do a simulate, the simulate monitor does not appear. It is playing because you hear audio and the menus are grayed out. F9 gives the full screen display and again lets me access menu. Weird.

I partially suspect, that when I changed the way the second monitor was positioned using desktop/properties/settings and positioned monitor 2 above 1 (which by the way, Avid will not work that way) it messed up the display, but have since positioned monitor 2 to the right of 1 so it should work again.

Anyone ever seen this?

Thanks, Dave
