The campus is just west of I-85, exit 55. Lunch on your own 12-1. Coffee, donuts, and bottled water provided.

The agenda includes group sharing (which includes a show 'n' tell about new equipment and gadgetry), selected video tutorials by Douglas Bruce from Avid's web site, a hands-on demo/practice session with a jib
crane, and viewing and discussing members' work-in-progress. We may also try to "channel" former group leader Andy Browne, now an ex-pat in Costa Rica, via Skype or ooVoo. To be raffled are an Avid cap and
an Avid T-shirt, but (ta-da!) the grand prize is a free, year-long subscription to the Avid Media Composer Complete package on Avid's online training portal (ALEX) courtesy of Avid Worldwide Training (MSRP $550.00).

Members should RSVP to Mary Beth Ross at mbrstudio@carolina.rr.com, and indicate what they're bringing to share. If it's gear, please estimate how long it will take to demo it; if it's work-in-progress, whether you'll be playing it from a camera to a high-def DLP projector or from a DVD to a standard ceiling-mount projector (and approximately how long it is.)
