A full-service marketing and media company, EFX Media delivers effective communications solutions that are on target and in sync with their clients&amp;rsquo; business objectives.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Bruce designed and integrated EFX Media&amp;rsquo;s state-of-the art technical facility from the ground up. The facility&amp;mdash;which includes traditional and non-linear editing suites, an extensive computer graphics and animation department and all the latest media tools&amp;mdash;is considered one of the finest in the Washington area. In addition, Bruce is renowned for his technical editing skills. He provides pre-edit creative and technical consultation and helps ensure that they deliver the highest quality sound and picture you can imagine. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:10pt;color:windowtext;mso-bidi-font-family:Arial;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

He has been married for 12 years and has a 10 year son named Ben. Bruce graduated from the University of Maryland&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Verdana;"&gt; in 1991 and majored in Video Production with a minor in Computer Science. &lt;span&gt;&lt;span style="mso-spacerun:yes;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;He enjoys bike riding and tinkering with old video equipment. The DC Avid Users Group has just passed 2 years since it&amp;#39;s first meeting and we have well over 100 people on our mailing list.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:10pt;color:windowtext;mso-bidi-font-family:Arial;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/h4&gt;

Her clients have included PBS, National Geographic Television, and Discovery Communications. Among her many credits are the Emmy Award-winning National Geographic Channel series Inside Base Camp and Against the Odds: The Next Generation, a PBS documentary that earned the Aurora Film and Video Gold Award and the Communicator Award of Excellence.&lt;span&gt; &lt;span style="mso-spacerun:yes;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;Lee is well known in the local industry for her skill, creativity, and can-do spirit.&lt;span&gt; &lt;span style="mso-spacerun:yes;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p style="margin:0in 0in 0pt;" class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:Verdana;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:Verdana;"&gt;Penny is also an active member of her community.&lt;span&gt; &lt;span style="mso-spacerun:yes;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span&gt;&lt;span style="mso-spacerun:yes;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;In addition, she is also a member of Woman in Film &amp;amp; Video, DC Chapter, since 1996 and has served on the Board of Directors from 1997-2000, where she held the position of Vice President of Programming.&lt;span&gt; &lt;span style="mso-spacerun:yes;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;She rejoined WIFV in 2004-2005 as Executive Vice President of Programming and Membership.&lt;span&gt; &lt;span style="mso-spacerun:yes;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;As part of her giving back to the community, she launched the first WIFV Media Job Fair and the annual Resume Swap workshops as well as volunteering for the Image Makers Program serving not only as the chair and mentor, but as instructor for editing portion in the program. Penny also chaired and organized several professional development seminars that WIFV sponsored including: &amp;ldquo;The Job of Finding a Job&amp;rdquo; (2000), &amp;ldquo;What&amp;#39;s the Deal with the Demo Reel?&amp;rdquo; (1998) &amp;ldquo;The Art of the Pitch&amp;rdquo;, (1998) Fundraiser Program: &amp;ldquo;Hitting the Right Chord&amp;rdquo; (2003) and many more. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:Verdana;mso-bidi-font-family:Arial;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

His unique skill set combines his vast technical expertise, knowledge of workflow management, and creative storytelling ability which has enabled him to create award winning work for the Discovery Channel, AOL, ESPN, PBS, and NBC Productions to name a few. Rick&amp;rsquo;s ability to adopt, elevate, and execute a client&amp;rsquo;s vision combined with his dexterity with the industry&amp;rsquo;s state-of-the-art technology make him one of the Mid-Atlantic&amp;rsquo;s most sought after editors.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/h4&gt;&lt;div style="clear:both;"&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</description></item></channel></rss>
