I just upgraded to 5.5 I opended the Hamburger Menu on the timeline and clicked auto gain. I can now add keyframes to my audio tracks in my time line but for some reason I cannot click them and adjust them. Is there a setting I am over looking for adjusting audio from the timeline?
Thanks!!
You can add the keyframe icon to the toolbar above the timeline, or map it to your keyboard, then with the audio track highlighted place the playhead where you want to add the keyframe and click on the icon (Pink upward pointing triangle). If you put your mouse on the keyframe, it will change to a hand and you can push the volume up or down, or add multiple keyframes to vary the volume as you wish. Douglas Bruce has a tutorial on this. You can find the tutorials at the top of the forum.
Hope this helps

I have mapped the keyframe to my keyboard and in past years I never had any issues. For some reason I can add the keyframes to the clips in the timeline but i cannot adjust them. My mouse is not changing to a hand or allowing me to slide the keyframe. I did not know if 5.5 had another setting I am overlooking
Thanks

Yes, there is. It is a button called "audio keyframe". It is mappable from the command palette under the smart tool tab, and should by default be already on the upper timeline toolbar, if you have it active. It has an icon that shows 2 keyframe triangles on it. This button must be active along with "auto gain" being active to grab and manipulate audio keyframes in the timeline.

Larry....you are a genius!!! Thank you very much!!!! I did not have the icon with the two keyframes active.
You're quite welcome, Field. Always glad to help out.
