jasonsaro:uninstall the Flamethrower driver in "Device Manager" This is the driver that runs the DNA box. Restart the PC, and a "found new hardware" will pop up. Let it install the driver again, it will find it, its located in the avid folder. Thats it, this has happened to me a bunch of times, and all 4 of my MCA's are set to avid spec. Who knows, just becomes corrupt.
In Avid Settings, go to Video Display, uncheck "Output to DV Device". Worked for me.

I get exact this error when I try to output through my Canopus advc 300 unit, thought that I could have used it for previewing on my big screen wall mount television but unfortunally this doesn´t seems to work, I have tried it on both a V 64 sys and a Xp sys, same error on both sys so I have to either follow the advice to uncheck " output to Dv device " ot just disconnect my unit.
Capturing with the unit works very well.

I did some resetting in the preferences for the video output and after that, I am able to use my unit without having these flamethrower output error, works on both V32 and v64
