Export from Media Composer (Adrenaline) to DVD

This question has been asked, to some extent, in the past. However, I feel like the questions and answers have not been complete. My products usually run 3 - 5 min. The following is for a typical short SD video using Media Composer and DVDit 6 (the finished DVD will not have a menu):

I want to have the best quality possible. In "Export Settings" I have "Export As:" Quicktime Reference, "Use Marks" and "Use Enabled Tracks" are unchecked, "Defaults:" Digital Mastering, The following are all checked: "Flatten Video Tracks" "Render All Video Effects" "Mixdown Audio Tracks" "Use Avid DV Codec." "Display Aspect Ratio:" *4:3 square pixel (640 x 480). "COLOR LEVELS:" RGB.

Then, I use the newly created QuickTime Ref file to record to DVDit 6. In "Project Settings" I use (Transcoding tab): "Encode set:" Superior Quality CBR (8000 kbps video; PCM audio), "Encode Style:" CBR, "Target bit rate:" 8000 (Min bit rate: and Max bit rate: cannot be changed) "Audio Type" PCM. Under "Preferences" the best quality is selected.

That's it. I also have Sorensen Squeeze, Sonic SD-Series Encoder, and Sonic DVD Producer, none of which I use under these circumstances. So, is this the best quality?

*The Aspect Ratio is for a 4x3 product.

I would not use square pixels, but apsrt from that it's what I use.
