We currently having problems with the Boris Continuum Complete and Avid FX plug-ins after installing the MC v4.0.2. We are getting an error of "Access Denied". We have a new Z800 workstation connected to an Avid Videoraid SR. The OS is Win Vista 64Bit. By the way, we made sure that the workstation meets the requirement of MC version. I already looked on the Knowledge Base site , Boris site and even checked threads on the forums. but still looking for answers. Have anyone experience the issue and resolved it?
The install can get screwed up on these due to the different path in Vista. Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling BCC?
Also, BCC is a unique beast in that various versions can't live together. Only one version of the AVX 2.0 can be installed, while the AVX 1.5 version of 1,3 and 4 can live together.

Is this when you are trying to use the plugs? If so I would recommend an uninstall/reinstall as TCurren suggested.
If not get us some more details.
thanks for your replies and Yes, we did try uninstalling the plugins. That was the initial troubleshooting we did but resulted to the same issue ... WIN VISTA is kidda different environment for me and still trying to get use to it. Its really funny because the other plugins just works fine except for these two. We even did a fresh installation of the OS on this new workstation. any other suggestions? would thier be a compatibilty issue with the plugins since MC4 is kindda new?
Should be fully compatible.
What are you doing when you get the error? Can you post the full error or a screen grab of the error?
