I am looking at buying a new MC workstation.  I will be working on MC 4.   I had a quote for this system

X58 motherboard
i7 920 Intel processor
6 Gig DDR3-1600 RAM
500 Gig Boot Drive
Geforce 9800GT Video Card 1GB Ram
DVD burner

Audigy SE Sound Card
Windows Vista Business 64bit w/ windows 7 upgrade coupon

My question is that the processor and graphics card do not meet system requirements for MC.  Will this set up work?  Am I just asking for trouble getting this system?  They also quote me a system that met the requirements but it was twice as much.  I also want to get a system I could grow in?  I am willing to spend the extra money it it gives me less problems in the end.

My personal advice is to get a qualified system from HP or Dell and be done with it.
