Here is the deal:
I want to buy this one so to take a taste of ProTools.
But I can't find any info about compatibility with my MC version.
And if I can upgrade to full Pro Tools with that.
And if the mic will be fine working for a better Pro Tools version.
Anyone knows anything, just drop a line.

Pro Tools M Powered is NOT compatible, afain....at least it hasn't been historically. You would be better served with a Pro Tools LE offering...purchasing the usb mic separately....or using the mic pres in the 003 or Mbox along with a good XLR large diaphragm condenser mic, imho.

H'mm... I just noticed that google chrome keeps the link "hot" when cutting and pasting. No need to edit and activate the link.
Thanks a lot Robert.
One reason more to upgrade to MC4. However Vista 64 isn't supported...
This is a little bit strange as I run MC on Vista 64 which is qualified for MC.
The only thing I don't know yet is if ProTools 8 full can run with that producer microphone
or they need more expensive equipment to run. A console or so.
According to this article, it doesn't work with Pro Tools:

I think those are old news as the microphone comes with ProTools M-powered essentials.
The question is if I will upgrade to a better version of Pro Tools will it be still supported?
And the thing that you can have output only through the jack on the mic is a let down.
Thanks again Robert.
The M-powered Pro Tools version has been a separate animal in terms of its compatibility...fwiw. Although I'm sure it is only a matter of time before M Audio usb mics are made compatible with all Pro Tools versions. The only question is how much time.
