Looks like I have around 4,000+ now - can I turn those in for a toaster oven? Maybe a discount on MC 5.1?

I say after around oh say 4800 points, you should get your pick of the Deluxe Nitris Tote Bag, The Avid DX Beer Cozy, or the Unity Unisex Uniform.
After 20,000 points, you should get a life.
Adman:Ego gratification...you cannot put a price on it.
True..
I might be eligible for a few presents myself. But I really hope nobody at Avid takes this up seriously!
Knowing the devious ways of some people a scheme where points would lead to presents would also lead to an inflation of meaningless posts on the Forum.Let me explain by using Forum user A and B in the following fictitional exchange of posts.
A: ..... and my playback stops ...B: What video card are you using?A: XXXB: Really?A: Yes?B: I used to have one of thoseA: Oh, when was that?B: About a year agoA: How much did it cost you?B: 5,000 yenA: Did I read correctly, "Yen"?B: YesA: Are you in Japan then?B: YesA: I ............................... etc. etc.Yep, they are picking up points, but not helping the Forum.
Let the discussion continue................ But, please Avid, don't take it too seriously Regards,Douglas

Douglas, I would think the WARP (Worldwide Avid Rewards Program) rewards would be based on the user's total points at this time, not in future. It would be a one-shot deal, not an impetus for amassing future useless postings. That would be silly. Unlike the Avid "Unity Unisex Uniform" which is obviously quite serious.
(Sorry to point out that you and I just added some points.) Oh well.
bump
I would bump every single post ever posted to get such a Unity Unisex Uniform, complete with cap, bag, lunchbox and backpack.
So that Chandler would say: Did an Avid Unity just throw up on you?
I'll sell my left pinky for a "Lift Button Man" T-shirt.
Hey, even with all my points, I'll settle for a few t-shirts!
