    AMA and Sony's EX3 issues

Has anyone else had issues with picture quality when using AMA to import media from a Sony EX3? I notice in the Sony picture viewer the footage looks fine. The AMA works great for propagating a bin but the footage looks washed out. The blacks aren't so black, it almost looks milky. All I have to do is add a color effect and crush the blacks but I shouldn't have to.

I'm using MC 4.0 on a brand new Dell laptop (avid approved specs) The camera is brand new too. Unfortunately I didn't have time to experiment with all the new gear before taking a gig which has me on the road for the next few weeks. Any input would be appreciated.

When you use Clipbrowser to "export as MXF for NLE" then import that MXF into Avid, does it still look bad?
