    color correction and PIP ?

    Hi,

I have noticed today , when I'm placing two video sources (which have been color corrected (using CC mode)) on top of each other and apply PIP effect something strange happens:

the color correction of the top layer affecting the lower layer.

what I want to achieve is to C.C two clips, placing them on top of each other an maintain the C.C of each one of them.

    thanks.

    Lior

Re: color correction and PIP ?

If you alt-drag the PIP effect to the top graded layer, the color correction should automatically nest inside the PIP.  As such it shouldn't affect the lower layers.  Is this not happening?

That is exactly what I did and it still affecting the lower clip.

Try double clicking the PIP clip while in segment mode, and apply the cc effect to the fill layer.
