Analog Mojo on MC 4 success stories?

We currently have 3 analog mojo's that have done very well for us over the years (we work primarily in Beta SP with some DVCam and DVCpro - all HD is file-based).

We have purchased the upgrades to MC 4, but I am hesitant to install it because it does not support the analog mojo's and we are planning to purchase Nitrix DX boxes in Q2 of next year.

Has anyone had success running analog mojo's on MC 4?  Did you need to install the driver seperately from an older version of Avid?

Any stories - successes of failures, are welcome so that we can learn from them.

    Thanks,

    Mike

Analog Mojo is supported. But not on all systems (not on Z-series of HP)

I thought I read Mariana said they have a Z800 running with an analog Mojo. Not sure where the thread was, but I am sure of it. I'll be testing my z400 soon with the analog Mojo and will post results.

Please do!  I have two of them and still need them.  Hope it works, thanks!

Hopefully I'll get to testing the analog mojo with the Z400 machine this weekend. I found the recommended Dynex Pci-e FW card did not work at all in my z400, so I just bought a Pyro64 Pci-e card and so far it works just fine with MC4.02 and the Z400 using a Sony FW cam and a Sony DV deck. Mojo is up next.

Analog Mojos seem to not like 64-BIT VISTA on laptops?

Is it working well on Vista 64 desktop series (other than Z400,Z600&Z800 of course)?

Re: Analog Mojo on MC 4 success stories?

analog mojo working fine here on a qualified XW8600 with vista 64 business (but with seperate IEE-1394 firewire card)

    http://www.avid.com/resources/qualified/MediaComposer-NewsCutter-Qualified-PC-Workstations.pdf

this document says that for laptops:

Mojo and Mojo SDI require Vista Business 32 and an add-in Firewire 800 ExpressCard:

--Dynex Firewire 800 ExpressCard adapter card (part number is DX-ECFW)

    --Startech 2 port ExpressCard/34mm firewire adapter - 1x1394a / 1x1394b card (part number is EC13941A1B)
