Before 3.5, there was a different highlight color in the Timeline for the clips located between an In/Out points and for the clips selected whilst in Segment mode. Purple and fushia. And it was extremely useful to spot which clips and/or which mode was active.
Would it be possible to have that feature back in a next revision of MC? And if you want to improve it, the colors could be chosen in the Interface settings, so that we'd have the best of both world.

I like the old way of highlighting Timeline clips, though the suggestion in that thread is good too - except that red is already useful for offline clips.
