Can media composer v4 with and adrenaline video box and protools 8 le be install in the same OS drive
on a mac with 10.5.8?

nice! i hope they keep it that way for all foreseeable future, in all versions & flavors. i had xpress pro 5.6 i think and protools 7.4 on a PC and i had to do all manner of kooky fixes & downgrades to make it work. it all worked in the mac though, if i recall correctly.

One thing you may not know is that the audio and video product teams are now unified within Avid for the first time – as of last month. And while organizational structure doesn’t guaranty anything in and of itself, the Media Composer and Pro Tools teams will now be working together in ways they never have before.

That is great news!!! It would be great if ProTools could work transparently with Avid without the need for the $500 Digitranslator software, the way Final Cut + Soundtack work together. Looking forward to see greater integration between both programs!
