Lanshare PC running 4.1.6
Thursday of last week all of the sudden I can no longer connect my ethernet clients-
FIber clients work fine
Can still see the Unity Drives but cannot connect
I can still connect other network drives and connect to the internet
IT claims no changes on their end- do I just need to try a new IP address?
Hi,
so it seems that your Lanshare-portserver service has hung up.... As there is no way to restart only the service without causing a lot of other trouble, the official Avid-Workaround is: Restart the LANShare...
get well,
chris
It's not a bug, it's a feature!
Like Chris says... restart the lanshare. it will bring everything back...
If possible it is worth to do a check in the event viewer of the lanshare if you can find any clue why it happened.

Always have a backup of your projects....Always!!!! Yes Always!!!!
Software activation AND dongle is better then only software activation.
