I was wondering if there was a setting somewhere in Symphony in which every time you close your bin it will automatically check in the assets for you?
Right now, it seems to do it at random. Sometimes when you close the bin you'll see the status windown say "checking in assets" and other times it does not. What is the relationship to when a big automatically does the check in? Is it after a certain amount of time the behin hasn't been modifed? When a new clip is placed within it?
Thanks

Its actually part of the Interplay Administrator settings, not Symphony. I believe the options are to automatically, ask or manually check-in. I'm not sitting in front of an Interplay System so I'll have to double check when I can.

I found the option you were talking about in the Interplay Administrator Settings, however it was set to "check in bins automatically". I re-applied the option just to make sure. I'm hoping that this will work.
I think you have to check in the sequences manually regardless (with check into interplay). If set to auto check in then it only checks in master clips / subclips / whatever when closing.
But I'm not an Interplay administrator and I don't play one on TV
Avid, FCP, EVS, Tape, whatever.
