    DS 10.2.1 upgrade

    I just noticed the "checkerboarding" in the edit ribbon after i have upgraded. What does the checkerboarding mean?

    never mind. duh! it is showing the time between in and out points. That feature was not there before, was it?

    That is a new feature to DS.  It's basically showing the range on the timeline defined by in and out points.
