Hi every body,
when we change the output video settings (lets say I lower the R-Y chroma setting) and press the "SAVE PARAMETER" button for component video, when we restart the PC and the breakout box, the system does not keep the change and the factory settings are back.
We use the component output, but we need to lower the chroma in order to be in "legal colors" when outputting to Beta SP.
How can I keep my custom settings?
Any suggestions?
Thanks
Tommy R.
Can you use the realtime legalizer/clipper in the Color Corrector?
Yes, I suppose we can.
But I prefer to calibrate the component output with a vectoscope and a waveform, (and using a calibrated monitor), and live the legalizer/clipper in the Color Corrector for small adjustments.
The question here is why the settings are not being kept by the breakout box or the sofware?
Thanks for the help.
Tommy
Any suggestion? Sylvain?
thanks
T
Unfortunately, these specific settings are not saved in the deck template and they are driven by the Nitris hardware, so when the gear is power cycled or the DS application reinitializes the Nitris drivers, these settings are indeed going back to their defaults. It is a design limitation.

Thanks for the answer Sylvain, I thought I was doing something wrong.
But that drives me to the problem on how to calibrate the analog component output, and rkeep it fixed for new projects.
What would you suggest appart from using "clamp to video levels, color correction"?
Thanks,
