    MC v4 Doc comment

Just recieved my v4 upgrade package and was reading the doc.

I found it strange that there is almost no discussion of AMA and other file based workflows in the printed doc.  For such a important part of the workflow of Avid to be relegated to online help only seems odd.

Any comments / thoughts on this?

    Re: MC v4 Doc comment

    Hi Marianna,

I took a look at pdf you sent.  It is basically what I read in the provided documentation for v4.

My comment is that there is NO provided hard copy documentation for AMA or P2 or XDCAM workflow.

You MUST use the online help.  Is that bad?  Well, that is the point of my question.

But, I tend to think that this new workflow is one of the most important parts of the AVID experience.  You would think there would be stronger discussion in the books.

But maybe I am just old fashioned (time for Scott W. to chime in .... )
