I have an HD project running at 1080p/23.976. This is the format that the entire project was shot at.
I have various HD broll coming in at varied formats and frequencies. ie: 720p/59.94, 1080/23.98p/59.94, 1080/24p/59.94.
The avid happily plays back the mixed formats in the same timeline. Most of the clips play back correctly however, I noticed that some of the clips seem to play back as if they are in slow motion and others have a more noticeable judder on an image moving through a shot.
How do I remedy this so that everything plays back smoothly?
Thank you!
BTW, I am running Avid 4.02 Nitris.
So my new wife asks me about my "Avid Forever" tattoo... I told her she's an old girlfriend who was always coming up with new things for me to try...
There are several ways you can adjust the incoming footage. The easiest way is to show the Field Motion and Cadence Colums in the bin, right click on them and adjust them for the type of footage that was ingested. If that is still not working, you can promote the Motion Adapter effects and adjust them in the TimeWarp Efect editor.
