Hello everyone! It's Chris Bové from WNYPPG -- Avid's users group for Buffalo/Rochester/Syracuse.

The first-ever implementation of our group in Rochester will be held at WXXI on Thursday October 15th at 6pm. For those of you not familiar with our meetings, we are a casual group of professionals/enthusiasts who get together about every three months or so to discuss postproduction topics and share workflows. We are officially endorsed by Avid - less as a means of selling Avid products and more as a grassroots method for Avid to learn the needs and desires of actual users.
