    Trouble with XP 32-bit

I'm running MC 3.5.1 on an HP XW8600 with 4GB of RAM, Windows XP Pro 32-bit.

I do a lot of effects - BCC, Sapphire, Marquee, etc.  My PC will often "overload" and require a restart of MC to get going again.  Once my memory reader goes above 42%, I'm toast.

I realize that my RAM use is limited on XP to 3GB.

I've heard that this may be a MC version issue and that once I upgrade to 4.0, everything will be good.

I have also just upgraded to Z800, Vista 64-bit, 6GB RAM.  Maybe that will handle the problem as well.  We'll see.

    Any ideas??
