We have version 7.5 DS.  We introduced some Final Cut suites to work with our new omneon server.  We are banging out high quality MPEG4 files for clients with the Final Cut.  I can make quicktime.mov files with an MPG4 codec, but not an MPEG4 file with the AVID.  There is a difference.  Where can I download codecs for mpeg4 files as well as the H264 Quicktime codec?  I want to make sure it is compatiible with the AVID.  The last codec I tired to install caused the system to crash....AVID provided the link to that one.  Any help would be appreciated. 

You can try Apple QuickTime 7.4.5 but be sure to configure the Player settings to avoid application errors and crashes. The default QuickTime settings don't work well with DS.

But since you are running an outdated version of DS, we cannot guarantee success with the more recent QuickTime players...
