Recording from a live source no Audio

I recently switched from AXP to MC.   I have to record a live show every day.  I have always been able to toggle source on the capture tool and recieve audio and video.   For some reason I can recieve video but no audio.  We also recieved new computers and I don't have the full specs yet and I will add them as soon as I do.  Any help would be appreciated.

I'm guessing that you have some type of feed from your source to your system via a deck or camera. AXP would allow you to do this with no problems, as I remember. For some reason the code was changed and you must now have the deck or cam in Record to allow the audio to pass through. The deck/cam must actually be recording, not just the "record" button pressed.  Give it a try.

This is a bug caused by using AXP settings on a Media Composer installation. Try creating a new user.

Thanks, I was able to get levels when I recorded on the deck.  Is there a better way to record a live source directly into MC?

Guys, I do this every day - capturing live feed video and audio off of our router via SDI input - without any issues. I'm using a Nitris DX box, previously an Andrenaline DNA. You don't indicate whether or not you're using a hardware BOB, like Mojo.

Looks like Brian is posting from a high school. Odds are his system(s) are software only.
