I just upgraded to Avid Media Composer 4.02, downloadable, with which I am very pleased. I checked the Avid webstore for the Avid Production Suite Bundle and discovered it now included Boris Continuum Complete(BCC) version 6, as advertised on the webstore page, so I ordered a second set of Production Suite Software for $195, just to get BCC v6. It has arrived, only to discover it still includes the old Production Suite, which I already have, i.e. BCC5.0.4. Since the only way to discover this is to open the seal on the disc set, I guess Avid won't take this back, so I'm out $195.00.

Needless to say, I am NOT happy about this. I've written to Avid Support for assistance, but, haven't heard back from them as yet.

Next time email me.....  thats what I am here for and it just so happens, I have been handling this since last night :)  My apologies that we mucked this one up. 

Manufacturing did not purge the old inventory and they have rectified that as of this morning.  Please send me your SO # from the webstore via email and I will have a NEW production suite sent out Fed ex.

Orders as of today will be fine.

Yep, I got Lenny's email at 8:30 last night and Marianna had this solved shortly thereafter. We've found the problem and purged the old inventory. Lenny's replacement is going out fed-ex today.

[EDIT: Lenny is not Cuervo BTW, He was just the first person to email me about this.]

Holy Moley, but, that was a fast fix. You guys are right on top of it. My faith has been restored. I send a HUGE THANK YOU to Avid Customer Support. Stuff happens, huh?
