Hello,
This could be basic. How do you quickly reset all the parameters of an effect to its default? Say I've done several tweakings but then decided to start from scratch.
I know I can just reload a fresh one but just wondering if there a way to do a quick-reset.
Thanks.

For Avid DVE and Color correction effects (an maybe some others) holding down 'ALT.' while clicking on the effect's activate button will reset the effect. But as for the rest - ie: Boris, Sapphire, illusion, I'm not sure if it's possible.
@jaketheeditor
Thanks for the quickee!
You;re right, only some has the enable button. Any other ideas? say, quick-resetting a ColorEffect (attached mage).
Alt click the slider.

Don't think it's possible.
You may want to request a Reset Parameters button here: Avid Product Feature Requests
Yeah, Im wondering why it's not implemented liberally on all Avid's stock effects.
I guess I'll just have to add to the request list.
Thanks!
if your effect was recently applied you can use the undo list from the edit pulldown menu. keeping on mind that you will also undo edits, etc, as well
For the effects that don't have the square button (Option Key on the Mac BTW), you can simply drop the same effect on the clip again.
I sometimes have a default saved fx template that I can just highlight the clip and double click the fx template to reset to defaults.
