The dongle will still be a supported option in this version.

That's very welcome news! Thanks!
Sad that Mojo analog is not supported more. This means lots of €€€€€ in upgrading to MC4. First a small amount for the software and then lots of €€€€€ of Mojo DX (Mojo SDI is out of question, it will not add anything to our existing setup.[:'(]
I hope Avid still support HP xw4600 which we bought less than a year ago for our editing.
Monitoring 16 tracks of Audio has been for quite a while and generations now, but seeing 16 tracks at once in the Audio Mix Tool, THAT is new, and great!!
EDIT: I see this one was already answered. Sorry about the unnessesary post...
Wow! Great news about AMC v4.0! I'm glad it still has dongle support as I like to bounce from desktop to laptop. Too bad about the original Mojo being dropped (not that I use it much anymore).
A few questions . . .
1. I just bought my v3.5 upgrade today! What will the cost to upgrade to v4.0 be?
2. Will 4.0 finally support P2's DVCProHD 1080 24PA pulldown at the file level?
3. Even though the original Mojo is not officially supported in v4.0, is there a chance that it might still work? Or should I not even bother attempting it?

mojo analog not supported anymore...
does this means that it will not 'work' anymore? Or that there isnt support for it(a lot of people edit on 'unsupported' computers...)
sniff.........
Carl stole my thunder. Yes you can still use a dongle when you upgrade to 4.0 :)

Mojo is supported, according to the release notes; who said it wasnt?
Hi DC.....
A few answers....
Anyone who bought from Sept 1 through Sept 16 can download it free from a protect page once we go live later this month. I'll fill you all in on the details next week.
Checking on that..... stand by....
Mojo analog is going to work but not on every configuration.

Mojo SDI is supported. The Analog version, along with the Adrenaline is EOL. Avid won't be including it in testing any longer.
Todd is spot on.....

Regarding question #2
The short answer is yes. It's not that we added support for p2 as it was already there but with the new editors we have the ability to remove advanced or normal 3:2 on the fly. No render needed. woooo hoooooo
BLKDOG and Marianna, can you coordinate Your messages about Mojo Analog.
Does I intreprere Marianna right? Mojo will work on the systems it does work on today, e.g. xw4600, but not on z400, which is clear in the spec?

Is there still a trade in deal from Adrenaline to Nitris DX?
Thanks

Great news about monitoring 16 tracks. Will we be able to adjust audio levels while playing the timeline and listening to audio at the same time?
Any idea if a DNxHD codec will support Alpha Channel?
berga: BLKDOG and Marianna, can you coordinate Your messages about Mojo Analog.
We are saying the same thing Berga. The Analog Mojo may very well continue to work on older systems than HP's new "z" series but Avid won't be supporting it going forward.
What that means is we haven't tested it with v4.0 so give it a shot. It should work but we can't say for sure if it will.
