Mac 2 X quad core 2.66 Nehalem 8GB Ram Avid Hardware based Adrenaline Software Build: 3.5.1 Hello, Ever since I upgrade from PC to Mac, I've not been able to pull up a waveform or vectorscope. I don't know if my problem has to do with that or that I'm now all P2 and no longer editing via analog Beta. But basically, when I click on the Video Input tool, there is no option to pull up the waveform or vectorscope monitor. So the problem is obvious. I can't set up the monitor, bars, much less color correct in it's current state. When I do click on the Video Input tool, it brings up the tool box but it basically completely empty other than the 'save as' option box. Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks
Hi
To access the Waveform or Vectorscope you need to be in color correction mode where you will find these and a number of other methods for technical monitoring.
If you need to access test signals to line up a monitor they are available in the video output tool not the video input tool.

That is true, there are various waveform display options in the CC tool, however the OP is also correct - there is a companion waveform monitor and vectorscope display that is part of the video input tool that should be there. The site settings may have become corrupted. To rebuild, quit the app, and from the settings folder, delete the following: MC State, Site_Settings, Site_Attributes. On re-launch, the system will detect the missing files and build new ones. If you have previously dragged any user settings into the site settings window, those will need to be restored after the rebuild.
