Our problem is back. What exactly do you mean by optimizing workspaces?

•EDIT• Sorry -- realize now with some research how basic that question is. (Not really a Unity person, just a lowly editor.) Will try your solution.

Changing the bin save settings didn't do it for us either.   Still having issues...

RE: the bin lock problem - have had it also.

Engineer here checked the MCState file ... and discovered six! All related to different users. Deleted them and restarted Avid and haven't had that particular problem in three days. Only downside is that you will have to rebulid user settings.

Unfortunately I don't have any fixes at this point, but I wanted to add my name to the list of people having the issue.  

There is no Optimize in ISIS-  there is a full redistribution of files,  however don't fiddle with this without being ON the phone with Avid.

There are NO issues with lock files on ISIS connected clients (and very few On Unity) that are PC based.   The issue is a pure Macintosh issue for y'all.  

And I bet those with this issue are prolly all within the Los Angeles metropolitan area.   This needs to be escalated to engineering-
