XDCAM EX Issue with long files - over 4 GB per file

    Hi

working on a big project shot on Xdcam EX, using MC 3.5.4 with AMA.

i got one shot that is very long, and the Xdcam camcorder automaticly split it into two .mp4 files when it's over 4GB.

when i load it using AMA, the begining of the shot is "Media Offline" and after about 2 min it's becoming online.

when i load the shot in Sony Clip Browser i can see only the same part of the shot that i can see in the Avid, but the thumbnalis is displaying a tiny logo on it.

according to the Clip Browser manual - this is what it means.

"Part of a clip that spans several media discs or memeory devices" , "Not all of the recorded video is played back when a split clip is played back"

what can i do in order that the MC will be able to work is it??

You need to connect the two pieces together in Sony Clip Browser -- believe it's the Split Folders command, but not certain. In any event, stitch together in Clip Browser, then reimport as one file, having saved to another location.
