Hi,
I'm trying to figure out what the best way to go about planning for a stereoscopic 3D project might be.
We are in the pre-production stage of a shoot for a six minute live action project and I am working on an Avid DS V10 with the 8400 workstation.
I am in the fortunate position to be able to influence all aspects of the shoot including what camera/workflow to use. But I have absolutely no experience in this format!
Does abybody here have some background in this area? Some support would be highly appreciated since I'd like to make this project go as smoothly and successfully as possible :)
One more detail - the final output will be on a 14X4meter screen - madness.
Consult the Avid DS Help and search for Working with Stereoscopic Images (Search = stereoscopic). The Online Help covers Steroeoscopic Container creation and related information.

Hi Boom,
I haven no specific advice other than to suggest you cross-post your question to the DS-List on googlegroups. That list is an additional, long-standing and out-standing resource for DS users, often has more traffic than this forum, and often generates quicker responses.
To join the group, visit http://groups.google.com/group/DS-List?hl=en.

Cool - I'll do that. Thanks!
