(I am a FCP user so pardon me if my question makes no sense)
I am planning to setup a CG pipeline where each final shots will be
1920x1080 24P TIFF sequences.
What I would like to do with Media Composer is to
import these TIFFs in two format:
Avid 1:1HD and DNxHD36 for cutting and playback
And I was wondering what would be the easiest way to do this.
How can I let MC know that these two formats are linked ?
Do I need to import it as Avid1:1HD then transcode it to DNxHD36 ?
I noticed that Avid also has this awesome looking app called MetaFuze.
if I transcode my TIFFs with MetaFuz would I be able to generate
2 files per shot ? (Avid1:1HD & DNxHD36)
and what would I need to do to tell MC that these two generated files
are linked ? eg ( sh0001_LOW & sh0001_HIGH )
Once again padon me if my questions seem silly
although I did my research I couldn't find "full" answers to
these question and I would very much appreciate if you
can give me some guide here :)
Thank you veru much

Import all sequence at DNxHD36, don't move original tiff file(if you move, you must manualy set path for all original sequence when do bach import). After the cutting do bach import for master sequence at 1:1(choose all clip option) this is all.
Beautiful ! it's great to know that I don't have to deal with two formats
Thanks andro !!!
