I am attempting to use a Sony HDW F900 camera as a deck with my Avid system. For some reason when I connect the camera to the mojo, (going from HD-SDI out to SDI in) the mojo does not read the camera as a deck. When I click the "toggle source" button, the avid can recognize the camera, but the timecode. It replaces the Tapes native timecode with the Time of Day.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this, aside from the obvious "get a deck" solution?

1-hdsdi does not carry deck control info just av signal info. It is probably just recognizing the vitc signal.
2-Have you set up the camera to downconvert or do you have a mojo dx?
