missing clips when converting AVCHD and importing

I must say that all in all my panasonic AVCHD camera works great, conversion time is  not bad using the panasonic software and it edits fine in my work flow.

My only issue is that I've noticed the way in which clips are ordered after importing that some files are not imported for some reason.

Once in avid the way it numbers them is continuous but when I go back and view on the sd card in the caemra there are scenes on camera that don't show up on the computer.  Or sometimes they are numbered differently and in different places.  which is scary when thinking that you must delete the SD card files to ahve room to video stuff.  If you are assuming you have transcoding all and there are a few that have not made it you are in trouble.

So does anyone have any suggestions for how to be more shure scenes are not skipped over or why this might be happening?  AGain I just put the SD card from my panasonic HDAVC camera into the computer, use the panasonic software to convert, and import p2 clips into bin, select to load media so they won't go offline later,

    Thanks
