I am finding that when I search for what exists on a specific workspace in Interplay Access the results - which number in the tens of thousands - boggle up my network as there are too many to display. I do however notice that a major reason the results are reaching such a staggering number is because it displays every instance of the same masterclip.
Which leads me to my question, is there a way in Interplay Access to search a workspace and have only one instance of a masterclip come up?

Don't think so. Access will pull up every instance of a masterclip within its search parameters. So if you're searching your whole database for it will pull up every masterclip.
If of course the search is narrowed to a particular area of the database where only one instance of the clip exists you will get a result showing just this one instance.
Or, of course, if there only is one instance of a masterclip in the whole database !
Go to Tools > Options > Filter Settings and check "Show only one representation for each asset found."

That was quite simple! Thanks a ton!
Sorry for the duff info, but this option isn't available in Access v1.4. I should know by now to ask what version people are on!!!
No worries! Thanks for the input. I'm sure I'll post something in the near future that you'll have an easy answer to it.
Thanks again.
