Is Chrome Xe compatable with any other hardware besides AJA Xena LHe hardware?  Also, is there a way to get the software out of the DEMO mode since I currently do not have the Xena LHe?

Avid Liquid Chrome Xe was sold by Avid as a dongle-protected software package, and the AJA XENA LHe hardware was not supplied by Avid and had to be sourced locally.

Avid Liquid Chrome Xe useD the standard version of the AJA XENA LHe hardware; there is no Liquid-specific version. The hardware consists of the following:

·         PCIe board with break-out cable loom (supplied as standard)

·         Optional KL-Box breakout box for 19” rackmounting

As I said, the AJA XENA LHe hardware is not included with the Avid Liquid Chrome Xe box, and would need to be sourced locally. In most territories, the hardware was supplied by the local AJA authorised distributor or representative. For contact details, please see AJA’s website at http://www.aja.com/where_buy.php. 

Maybe you could possibly obtain one through a reseller still on online somewhere.

Given that Chrome Xe is basically Liquid - why do you see demo is my question.  Where did you get the software?
