Very nice info, I just ordered the FX 1800, a better card than my current one and much cheaper than the 3800 and 4800 cards,

give us the iso files back in Avid Dvd please, no gi files for me
The readme says export to XDCam is supported in 3.5.4. Does anyone know if this includes export to XDCam-EX? Previous versions do not have this capability, although FCP does, so one would assume it is possible and not that difficult to implement.

Hey all.
I'm running 3.5.4 with a FX4500 and 169.47 drivers with no GPU mismatch error. Just in case anyone wanted to know.
SAlud!
just installed MC354 on my M6400 mobile workstation.

If you have the FX3700 then the old 169.47 is for you. The 182.65 driver is only for FX 1800, FX 3800, or FX 4800 only.
Thanks Avid for one of the most ridiculous and confusing installation procedures ever.
ok, got it!
thx for clearing this up

So...how do I (with a 3700) get rid of the 182.65 message that halts the program startup? Anyone?

that's what I want to know too!! pretty annoying!
Someone from Avid needs to answer this!
I had exactly the same problem, which only occurred yesterday when I upgraded to MC 3.5.4. I've just found a post here - http://community.avid.com/forums/p/70423/407007.aspx - which refers to a previous upgrade.
I've done what the previous poster Le Maitre suggested, editing the file QualifiedGpuBoards.txt in the Avid program folder, but I removed 182.65 and replaced it with 169.47. It seems to work - MC 3.5.4 loads perfectly without that error message.
I couldn't allow clients to see that error every time I load Avid - they see enough of them in the middle of edits as it is!
I've simply followed the suggestion of another user here, and it worked for me. I accept no responsibility if it doesn't for you. Make a backup of the file first.

Hi,
After download v. 3.5.4 I have only problems. I installed 182.65 driver.
The situation with GPU mismatch bug is crazy. Avid explanation is ....
But I see next two bugs in my system.
First - I start with my Avid Composer and before open project I try Quit and I receive comunicate: Avid editor has stopped working.
The same situation is when I open project and after my work I try close Composer and I receive same comunicate.
Second problem.
The Scroll While Playing is not working. I must go to: Settings->Timeline and ONLY put OK. Nothing more only OK and everything is OK This is bug.
When will be version 3.5.5 ?c
Regards
Zb.
As I understand it, FX 3700 users should stick to the 169.47 driver and not install the 182.65 one. The previous fix I described was just a means of avoiding that annoying error message when MC 3.5.4 is loaded.
No. in new Avid 3.5.4 Readme is information that recomended driver FX3700 is 182.65
but Avid behave strange. For example please see: http://avid.custkb.com/avid/app/selfservice/search.jsp?DocId=281731&Hilite=
Next matter.
In last day I received directly from Hewlett-Packard [alerts@alerts.hp.com] Driver Alert. There is suggestion - change driver on 182.67.
Hello ZFigas, sorry, I'd just read the earlier post by Fiendish which said "If you have the FX3700 then the old 169.47 is for you. The 182.65 driver is only for FX 1800, FX 3800, or FX 4800 only."
Perhaps someone from Avid could set us straight?

FYI, I just installed an 1800 card using the 182,65 drivers brought together with 3,54, no error messages and works like a charm, and as Fiendish most correct described, the old FX x700 quadro series should use the 169,47 driver, also brought together with 3,54 in the same utilities folder.
edited.. and about the error message when the 169,47 driver is installed, Marianna has posted a solution here
