Excellent. Downloading now. Anything specific in the release notes for this rev?
Did anything change in the approved versions? The matrix isn't yet updated... I had some downtime and would update today if everything is still the same.
Yeah, would love to know if there's a read me on this one.
Thanks!

Yep, just like always, it's in the DL center. It's in the KB too.
It's the first result.

Yay! They put FILM TYPE as an option for FilmScribe cutlists!!!
Thanks Avid.

They mention having fixed the stuttery position bar during playback. Has anybody confirmed whether or not this update fixes the crummy scrubbing and poor composer window updates that many of us were experiencing with DNA hardware?

Hi Guys,
Sorry to post such an obvious question as I know its on Avid.com, but every time I download the readme it comes up corrupted...
Is this version supported for Tiger OS? I assume not, as previous 3.5x are Leopard only, but thought I'd ask.
Anyone think I should bite the bullet and install Leopard? I'm not sure of the advantages overall, but if the Avid upgrades are significant, it may be worth upgrading for that reason alone?

dark_hadou... in the readme (mine is partially corrupted too) is does say:
...hope that helps.
Hi MJC
Thanks for the help. Guess I'll have to upgrade at some point if I want all the benfits... oh well.
Cheers!
We're running on Unity LanShare media server and, we've been told that it has reached the upgrade limit at version 4.1.6.
Does anyone know if 3.5.4 is still compatible with Version 4.1.6 of the Communication Manager?
At some point I was told that we could upgrade the Edit Stations to some later version of the CM (I have now forgotten which one it was), but leave the Unity at version 4.1.6 and the Edit Stations and the Unity would still talk.
Anybody have any experience or should I just take this to the Unity Forum?
Thanks all. JP
It's "Connection Manager", and v5.1.x is compatible with MN v4.1.6.

Timecode/Subcap effects are still flipped for me. Sad. More here.

Editing is poetry.
Is 3.54 for Intel based Mac's only? I have a powerpc, so am I doomed to upgrading my computer. 3.1x works fine, but is that the end of the road for my mac?
