hi
iwant to know which imac can be used for Avid MC3.5. imean configuration and also i want to know wether we can connect the MOJO with IMAC.plz let me know so i can buy an IMAC.
Others have used it with success, although it is not a qualified system. If you use the MOJO, nothing else can be on the firewire bus.

hold on, there is a qualified iMac in the feb 29 pdf:
iMac
2.33 GHz or lower Core 2
Duo Intel processor, 24”
Display
√ Mojo only
- Support for NVIDIA GeForce 7600 GT
256MB or NVIDIA GeForce 7300 GT 128MB
graphics card
I would suspect the graphic interface is the most important-- stick to those and you should be fine. Not sure why it must be the 24" display though it looks sweet and it's relatively very affordable.
To wander a bit, I see 4.0 plus is NOT qualified on the above imac 24" hardware in the current qualified systems list.
Only this Imac is, apparently:
20” Display 2.66 GHz CPU 4 GB RAM GeForce 9400 640FV disk drive√ √ - Requires MC/Symphony software 3.5 - iMac is 2009 vintage
I wonder if anyone can tell me if I can run it on my 3 year old white 2" Imac? (Same as red ant's list except 2.16 Core 2 (3G of ram, 128 M)GeForce 7300) IF I HAVE NO NEED FOR HIGH OR MIXED RESOLUTIONS??
I'm usually confined to offline, 14:1 or 15:1 or SD NTSC DV resolutions. (I don't digitize on this particular workstation.)
Will 4.02 choke on this or only if I were trying to use more HD stuff?
TIA
I'd download a demo version of Media Composer and see if it works!
