I want to read avid .avb file in human readable format . how can I do it
Well you can of course use Avid to open it but that aside you can export from Avid an ALE which will give you a text file of the contents of your bin. Or you could print the bin.
Avid DS won't directly read an .avb file. You need to open it with MC/Symphony and choose "File-Send to Avid DS" or simply export an AAF file.

Or export bin info ( w /o sequences ) from MC in ALE file. Open with Wordpad (not notepad )and voila.
more: in DS you have ALE import, right?
Correct, DS imports ALE files.
