No HQ option in MC 3.5?

I´m playing with the MC 3.5 demo.

I´ve noticed that titltles and resizes don´t allow to activate the HQ option in the effects editor.

    How come?

Is this because they are HQ by default?

    Thansk.

Just did a test, if you promote the title tool, you´ll get 3D Title v2, that one has HQ among a lot of other things ...

Re: No HQ option in MC 3.5?

Ok, same thing with the resize effect.

Before, you could activate the HQ option in the effects editor.

Now it´s not available. You have to promote the effect to 3d to activate HQ.

Before, there was an option to render all effects in HQ, so you didn´t have to change the setting in each effect.

Now that´s gone. You need to promote each effect to 3d, then ativate HQ.

    I don´t get it.

And, what about the "Image interpolation" setting (draft, standard, advanced)? Does it affect to the HQ option in 3d effects?

In order to get the maximun quality in a resize, should I not promote the effect to 3d and activate HQ, levaing the image interpolation setting in advanced mode?

Or should I activate HQ and advanced mode?

Very little information about how this works.

MAny effects are now HQ all the time. I am assuming that the ones you mention fall in that category.

Re: No HQ option in MC 3.5?

    Thanks, but:

    How do we know?

A simple resize: is it already HQ or do I have to promote it to 3d to activate HQ?

Also, does the image interpolation setting override the hq option?

Re: No HQ option in MC 3.5?

No, you can activate the HQ option in all tittles and resizes in MC 2.8 and 2.6.

There was no need to promote them to 3d.

Another example: the stabilice effect. It had an HQ option for the resize.

Not any more. So, is it HQ by default? Where is this information?

    And, about the render settings:

Before we had: quality (standard, highest quality or quality set on each effect)

Now we have the image interpolation thing, but then, what is HQ for now?

Is the image interpolation setting replacing the HQ option or what?
