I know it´s not qualified.

I´ve got this iMac:

Intel Core2 Duo at 2 Ghz, 2 Gigas Ram, Ati 1600 128 Megas, Leopard.

Media Composer 2.8 run just fine, but I want to upgrade to 3.5.

According to system requirements, Avid doesn´t support Ati cards in Mac any more, only Nvidia.

If this is true, I need to buy another computer, wich I can´t afford now.

Is anybody running 3.5 in this iMac, with the Ati card?

I´ve read in a forum that someone is using an Ati 1600 card with MC 3.0, only in SD.

Anyone using that card with MC 3.5?

Ok, in case someone is interested:

after upgrading my ram to 2.5 Gigas and isntalling Leopard, Avid Media Composer 3.5 demo is working pefectlly well in my iMac 2 Ghz with the Ati 1600 video card.

I´m only testing with SD, tought.
