BUG? Modify masterclip source / TC doesn't work properly in MC 3.5

I digitised some HDV material with the wrong tape selected in the capture tool

No problem - I thought I'd just alter the tape using the Modify... Source option, as in XPro.

But when I change the tape, the TC of the masterclip also changes. 17 frames are added onto it.

When I then try to change the starting TC back to the old one, again using the Modify option, nothing happens. That also used to work in XPro.

The same thing happened with a number of masterclips.

This is obviously bad news, should I need to rebatch clips in the future. The most I could do was add a reminder in the comments column of my bin...

    17 Frames?

What is the duration of the clip you tried to modify? Was the source logged as drop or non-drop-frame timecode?
