I've keyframed some basic camera moves and gain controls for a show and I usually do most any keyframing in AE. How do I delete keyframes from effects? Is there a button? I dont get the option when I right click so I'm imagining there is some secret way of doing it I cant figure out. Any ideas?

later.
I'm not sitting in front of my AVID at the moment but if I remember correctly, click the keyfrme you want to delete to highlight it and then hit the delete key. It might be backspace, but I think it's the delete key.

the delete key removes the whole effect from the clip, and the backspace key does nothing for me
You must be in the effects mode. Park on the appropriate keyframe in the keyframe timeline and highlight it, so it is the only one that is purple, then delete.
{EDIT} Oops. Just noticed this is the DS Forum. My procedure may or may not work.

You are asking for DS right? the answers you were getting were for MC.
So in DS -
When you have your effect property editor open, you can right click on the picture of the key in the upper left hand corner of the property editor, then select "Remove Animation".
If you only want to delete a single key frame, make sure you are parked on the keyframe you want to delete, right click and select "remove key"
You can navigate to the keyframes using the arrows next to the same key pic on the property editor.
HTH,
Tom
And to add another option. If you only want to delete a keyframe for one parameter, right click on the divot by the slider, and delete keyframe.
