    is the xw8400 qualified to work with videoraid ST ?

    I am trying to find out how far back I can go in trying to connect my new videoraid st. Does anyone know whether it is qualified for xw8200 ? xw84 ?

    Any answer greatfully appreciated

    There is no connection for SAS on the 8200.

    you dont need a sas connection on the computer. The videoraid st comes with the atto 380 board.

    Thanks anyway.

    Does anyone know if the xw8400 has been qualified with the videoraid ST ?

    your question listed the 8200, 

     

    8400 is qualified,  you will need the R380 version of the ATTO, the ST is only a JBOD.
